Delhi has become the first Kerosene free city in the
country after the successful implementation of Kerosene Free Delhi Scheme.
The scheme had been launched in the year 2012-13
under which free gas connection along with LPG filled cylinder for the first
time and gas stove were given to the Jhuggi Ration Card, BPL and Antodaya Ann
Yojna ration card holders who were using kerosene oil for cooking.
