The Delhi government yesterday launched an online OPD registration system in 24 hospitals for the benefit of the patients.
The move will help reduce the waiting time in the OPDs and streamline the rush for out-patient consultations.
Delhi Chief secretary S K Srivastava, while launching the system, said that it will allow patients to schedule appointments online, up to 15 days in advance sitting at home.
As per the system, one has to create an user ID by clicking on the link on the Delhi government website and then select the hospital and department in which they are seeking treatment, fill in their details and get a date and time of appointment.
