Senior Advocate Mukul
Rohatgi has been appointed as the new Attorney General of India. Mr. Rohatgi's
tenure will be for a period of three years. Earlier, he had served as
Additional Solicitor General in the NDA government. The law officers like the
Attorney General, Solicitor General and Additional Solicitors General represent
the government in various courts and give legal advice on complex issues.
